PAX 3 Vapor App Guide Games! – VaporizerWizard.com

PAX 3 Vapor App Guide Games! – VaporizerWizard.com Hey guys buzz here with vaporizerwizard.com and today Ill be doing a guide for the Pax 3 SmartPhone APP. I already have a full Pax 3 article review which you can check out here on youtube, but I wanted to go into a little more detail now that app is being released. So what I plan to do in this article is show you how to connect the Pax 3 to your mobile app. Ill talk about the different heating profiles and what type of situations I have been using them for.

Ill quickly go over the features that I already covered in my full Pax 3 review, Ill show you how to select your custom pre-set temp and last but not least, I will go over the 3 games available with the pax 3. For informational purposes, I will be using an iPhone 6s for this demo but Im pretty sure the app is the same across both IOS and Android platforms. Ive already downloaded the app from the app store and already enabled the Bluetooth on my smartphone. I also recommend that you have at least a 50 charge on your Pax 3 in case of any updates. So after you bring up the app for the first time, this is the screen you will be presented with. From here, click on the Get Started button.

Next, the app will ask you to select your vaporizer so well go ahead a pick the Pax 3. Now its time to pair the vaporizer with your phone. So well turn on the Pax 3 and shake the device until the blue lights appear. At this point your Pax 3 should connect with the app and you can now name your Pax 3 vaporizer. From here you can click on the Pax 3 in the middle of the screen and it will take you to the dashboard.

The current device temp is show in small gray numbers just above the target temp and you can see your current battery life represented by four bars located at the very bottom. You can swipe side to side to move up and down the temperature spectrum by 5 degrees or you can swipe up and down to pick individual temperatures. Next on the dashboard are five different heating profiles.

The first heating profile, default setting and one I use most is just called standard. It will boost oven temps 9 degrees Fahrenheit as you draw and drop back down until your next draw. For me, this is a good standard session profile and works best when you will be taking multiple draws one after another. The next heating profile I want to talk about is the Flavor profile which is the on demand heating mode. Overall its similar to the standard profile but uses more heat and more aggressive time lines on how fast the heating and cooling aspect kicks in.

It will basically begin heating up as soon as you draw and it will begin cooling immediately when you stop. This profile works best for me when Im trying to get the most out of a flavorful oven, or when I am pre-occupied working on something else. If by chance I forget about the Pax, the rapid cool down will help me save more of my herbs.

The next profile is Boost. The Boost heating profile will maintain higher temps for longer and drastically reduce the cooling aspect. Ive been using this profile whenever I use the Pax 3 with water pipes, and any time I want a faster session or a session with extra dense vapor.

It is also worth noting the unit gets a bit hotter in this mode. The Efficiency profile will step up temps by a one degree increment throughout your session while using the standard temp boost and auto cooling. This setting will increase temp much faster if you are actually drawing from the unit and it will slow down the temp increase if the Pax 3 isnt being used. With aggressive draws it seems to move up a degree about every 3-5 seconds and will keep going all the way up to 430 degrees as long as you keep drawing.

The last heating profile I will talk about is the Stealth profile. The Stealth profile will dim the LEDS and use the auto-cool method in an attempt to mask smell and avoid detection. I dont really use this heating profile and if youre trying to break bowls down into multiple sessions, I would recommend the Flavor Profile.

To get the least amount of smell with the Pax 3, I always recommend to vape all the herbs in the chamber in a single session and remove those herbs from the chamber when you are finished. Another option is to pick up the end caps from delta3dstudios. The Pax 3 also comes with a settings tab which you can get to by clicking the cog wheel in the top right corner. In the settings you can change the color theme from default green, to blue, they call it ocean, Yellow or sunset and red or mars.

You can also change the brightness from 100 to almost completely off, you can lock the device, just make sure your phone doesnt die, and you can change the haptic feed to off, medium or high, I prefer to use the High setting. Lastly the pax 3 comes with 3 different games. Paxrun, Paxsays, paxspin and Ill get more into those in a minute.

You can also get to account options by clicking the home button in the top left corner followed by the menu button in the top left corner. In the account tab you can check out options like the Pax store, find locations near you with Pax products, or get paxvapor support. Next I will show you how to set your custom pre-set temp option.

You will need to use a combination of both the vaporizer and the app for this feature. So the first thing we will do is turn on the Pax 3 by pressing the power button under the mouthpiece one time quickly and then go into the temp options by holding down the power button for about 2 seconds. Now were going to pull up the app and have it open next to the device. Were going to change the temps by pressing down quickly and the temps will change on the screen as you filter through the options.

So Green and yellow represent the lower end of the spectrum, green being the lowest, while Orange and red for the high end, red being the highest. So its a pretty good indicator of what your custom temp is set to without having to pull out the app and check. From here we can swipe side to side or up and down to change the temp and once youve decided on a temp, you can shake the device or hold the power button for 2 seconds to select it and begin a session. Once you set the custom temp for the first time all 4 petals will glow the color of the temp you have selected.

Lastly, the device is not heating while you are in temp select mode. Pax 3 Games So to access the games without the app, rotate the device 3 times. Youll want to do it pretty precisely otherwise it will just display the battery life. The first game that will show up will be Pax Spin.

This one is pretty simple, just spin or shake the device to activate the spin and it will randomly pick one of the four petals. Got 4 friends in a session? Let pax spin choose who loads the oven and who gets first rip. The next game is Pax Run and we can to get it by rotating the device 3 times just like we did earlier.

This game is actually pretty fun. The game starts by showing a yellow petal which is you, the player, and then a red or blue sometimes blinking petal that you want to avoid…. The white petals are safe to go into and will change the color of the petal you want to avoid. Im just going to play this one for a few seconds so you can see whats going on.

It was a little hard to explain in writing. The last game is Pax Says and its exactly what you think it is. It will start with a random 4 petal pattern which you will repeat and it will add one petal to each successful pattern that you complete.

I dont think that there is a losing option. You can literally try the same level over and over and over until you either get it or lose your mind. I got to level 39 and it wasnt pretty.

I was sweating, my head hurt, my body hurt and I just wanted the Pax 3 to play me a fancy song, but I may have come up one short. And I doubt that Im doing that again anytime soon. So hopefully one of you can find out what lies beyond level 39 in Pax says.

Moving on! You can also session the Pax 3 while you are playing a game by pressing the power button down for about 2 seconds. Select a temp and shake the device or hold down the power button again for 2 seconds to activate the heater. The Pax 3 will begin heating to your selected temp and return you to the game. The device will vibrate when it reaches temp.

Normally the heater is off while you are playing games but this will allow you to play a game and get in a session. The device will also save your last game played and load it when accessed again but will not save your progress. Turn off the device to exit any of the games.

So that will wrap up my guide of the Pax 3 Smartphone app. I think my favorite game so far is PaxRun and I can definitely see the Pax Spin getting used in some interesting situations. Theres a good chance that I might have missed some hidden features so feel free to share your experiences with the Pax 3 below.
